sottovoce…
The Sottovoce storefront at night, Avenida Libertador

El Lugar

The Place

Since it first opened its doors on Avenida Libertador, Sottovoce has kept the same quiet promise: a Mediterranean table, held softly, for those who prefer their evenings unhurried.

The name means “in a hushed voice” — and it shows. Marble tabletops catch the glow of amber pendant lamps, brass fixtures line a wood-paneled bar, and arched windows frame the passersby of Recoleta. It is a room built for long dinners, low conversation, and the kind of attention that only comes from a team that has done this for a long time.

Service

Hospitality, without hurry

Every table is cared for with the same meticulous attention to detail our founders brought from the Mediterranean coast — unobtrusive service, well-paced courses, and a room that never feels rushed.

At the Bar

A well-kept wine list

Reds from Mendoza sit beside Italian classics behind the bar, poured to accompany the freshest fish and the richest ragù with equal care.
